Hi! This is helpful, to a point. Your eyelids are thin and your lash line is right up against your eye. My lids are much thicker and only putting liner below my lashes leaves a 1-2mm layer of eyelid skin. Suggestions?

Lots of actors and artists use eyeliner while They're obviously straight. Egyptian men used to wear make-up. And i think in some countries like India they still do. If people think you're gay for using eyeliner they're not worth your time and friendship. Shortsighted people like that will always have something to discredit others for the benefit of their own ego.

I wear a bit of eyeliner, very light makeup, and some nice nail polish (currently rocking lilac colored polish and it's fucking awesome) and since I started I think I get more random women talking to me and it's always positive attention. But honestly most people don't seem to care, and I've never had a single negative comment. And those people that do have a negative opinion of men wearing makeup are probably not the type you want around anyway, right? Once you set aside the gender stereotypes, you realize its just a fun thing to do and now i actually feel more confident and good like this. In short: do it. If you don't like it just take it off!

Would the brown eyeliner for a more subtle look also work on someone with, let's say Usher's skin tone/shade? Or would it just kinda blend too much and not have as much of an effect on the eyes compared to a Caucasian?

It's hard to say for sure. I'd just get a cheap brown and black and give them a go before fully commiting

Please elaborate on Foundation. What is it? Do I need it? Why does this have to be so complicated T.T now I need a Tutorial for Foundation too and from there (I already am on it) I had to learn about Skin Tone and I have no idea about that, so on goes the hunt....

Foundation is used as a base all over the face. It's important to try and match the colour of your natural skin. The look is you, but perfected, not wearing a mask. Try concealer first. Used mostly for covering blemishes like pimples and dark under eye circles. It's cheaper and a good place to start and practice your skills.

If you have really thick and long eyelashes naturally, you really don't need eyeliner if you are male or female. The eye liner makes your eyelashes look thicker and adds a shape to the eye structure.

His eyes looked really nice, but I think that if you have black eyebrows and dark eyes and eyelashes, it would look better to use black eyeliner. It would match the eyes better than the brown. the brown would be to light and it would not really make any definition to the eye shape. I would use the black, but not to thick, then it may look to fake and artificial.

Now gentlemen, just remember, there is gay mans eyeliner and straight mans eyeliner. Gay mans is more precise, clean and even sometimes with a flick or wing, often with eyeshadow or even lipstick and foundation. Straight mans is smudgey, slept in and messy looking, maybe very subtle concealer to cover pimples, never full foundation and certainly not lipstick. It really depends on eho you are trying to attract I think.
