Commentators were awesome! Love how they knew so much about the racers a lot of present day commentators could learn from these guys!

@@trinidadrodriquez876 He did run professionally. I remember seeing some of his 1991 training and I think it was too much because 100 mile weeks were too much. It was strange at the elite level to race 10,000 meters and then 800 meters before the 1991 1500 nationals (to me). He fell in the 1992 Olympic Trials. You can search his name for a few other races that are on YT or other places.
