I am new to playing bowls - question - why is the coach/captain allowed onto the rink directing his player where to play his bowl? To me that is outside interference surley!

This Australia skip always blocks the other players views of his shots and never arrives at the head before the bowl. Isn't that still against the rules? or at least bad sportsmanship?

nscurler you need to be behind the head when your bowl comes to rest, but a lot of the top players do it.
