Even if you start slow and can't clear opening height, be patient and keep working, you'll do it eventually. I have a friend who couldn't clear 6' (opening height for girls at least in U.S.) but she kept on working. Starting freshman year is best because pole vaulting is a lot of form which can't be taught instantly. But I started Sophomore year and still did fine that year. Believe in yourself, have fun, embrace it, its great -Me, a vaulting 11th grader
@woodswinter49125 жыл бұрын
@Emma Grewal Trust your pole and run fast is what my coach told me, I got 8ft in 8th grade.
@wat12434 жыл бұрын
Just dont give up. It took me my entire freshman year just to clear opening height (7 feet) at the last meet of outdoor track. I'm at 11 feet currently and a senior, hoping to clear 13 by the time I graduated. I was injured at the end of Junior year and our school didn't have a pole vault pit for the first semester, so i've been limited to improving. Just remember to never give up and be patient

Men's outfits in this sport surprisingly covers much more skin, you'd think If anything them having slight bigger build would be a reason for them to show more skin, but no only women are pushed to show much more skin in not only just this sport kinda makes this impossible to get into for me, because it's like, a joke. This whole sport. Dominated by simps, same with football.
@callmebyyourname16963 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too and it's sad because women gets appreciated only for their bodies and not their abilities and hard work. I'm a woman and i was so affacinated by the strongness of women and surely I think they are beautiful but As much As these men.
@callmebyyourname16963 жыл бұрын
And also i really don't get why women always need to show more skin or have a different outfit when It's not practical. Like why do women always have to be "sexy". And also not in these kind of high competitions but in those that have a "less" importance the camera risults focusing so much on their booties and pussies so annoying
@slightlyabveaverage40593 жыл бұрын
Because we live in a world dominated by unsatisfied men without the balls to even attempt to get what they want the human way so enough of them moved into power and created a big show of it because they know that's as close as they're gonna get. The part that pisses me off Is the fact that it's so not talked about while still being in everyone's face I can only imagine the masses of the view count are just mega pervs, and to me that's almost disrespectful to all the work they put in, to show off for insecure assholes and most of them put up with it, because of the gains they get out of it, but so many of them simply love to do what they do and they can't even do that without being glared at by half the crowd and most the world. Even in an Asian country overseas I forget which the woman who train in martial arts literally won't be trained unless they wear these half naked uniforms, and as a martial artist who actually wants to get good enough to empower woman to shit of man, that is beyond fuckd for me, I really hate the general man in today's world. They're mostly insecure angry fags , it's a shame to raise a daughter in a world, and it's literally dangerous to raise one without confidence because then they'll hop right into some form of they insecure b.s for recognition and dudes like aren't safe, not physically a lot of times but certainly not safe emotionally. It's beyond fukd. I wish I could make it known, like when's the last time you seen a group of men have a volleyball competition in the water.. but it'll probably be in the watch next section for this very video. A part of me can't get over the world scale level of fukd this is.
@callmebyyourname16963 жыл бұрын
@@slightlyabveaverage4059 yeah it's difficult and I think is important that women or men that are pissed off from this things gets also their personal space to disconect from this type of reality from time to time to not get overwhelmed
