The coverage was rather poor (no distance posted with the time) following the runners as they continue through the course was also poor. However, the conditions (weather) and course itself were excellent. This is exactly what cross country is all about and suppose to look like. In the US the trend (for the past 10 years) is to have "spectators' courses" where people can see the race as it develops but then the courses are usually flat and look more like road races not cross country. They develop courses that should be fast and easy not roughed nor hilly. I hope one day to be able to run on a course like this and similar conditions. The last time I run something similar like this was during the 1980's! Kudos to the "designers of this course.
