The announcing in vert felt a bit forced, but here in street it seems like these guys are way more in their element as far as calling tricks and talking about the athletes goes. I don’t know much about skateboarding, but this was a great comp. Huge respect to everyone involved.

No I think that in other competitions like SLS they have qualifiers, quarters, semi's and the finals so by the time it gets to finals all the skaters have gotten their nerves out already and are more warmed up.

@@tonycruise because they were live streaming the event and didn't have a full production crew like usual because of Covid and late notice to organize everything. :Lol they didn't even have time to build their own skate park outdoors like they usually do they had to go to this private indoor skatepark and they had limited audience, think there was only like 20 dudes in the building and usually they'd have like at least 20 guys in the production crew and then hundreds or thousands in the audience. It's not their fault, it's covid fault and late notice

The runs are cool but its just not skateboarding and makes everyone play it so safe that there is no progression! Luckily SLS came along and made a skate completion that pushed the sport!
