Did Frodo even suspect he'd later become one of the best long distance triathletes at the moment? XD

I love you Frodeno, always Grande.

Olympic spirit resembled in Simon Whitfield. Remember watching it live, Canadian announcers had all but written him off as he dropped off the back of the running group twice. Too battle back for second, that is courage, guts, and never giving up.

He's such a big game competitor

@reeg15 Its most important to be a good swimmer to start with if you wan't to go seriously competitive. Keep at your swimming and train it hard, its superimportant for Olym Distance and very important for 70.3/IM as you will otherwise fall far behind. Biking is important too but tbh the least important discipline for pros, you have to be good, but its usually best to stay fast and steady and save for the run. Be good at running from 10k to 42k and you'll do quite fine.

Too bad you didnt mention Alistair Brownlee of GB who lead the cycle and run for a fair stretch
@rogerc235 жыл бұрын
Should they mention every loser?
@markalexander-warne58793 жыл бұрын
@@rogerc23 A little history shows how absolutely wrong you are on a couple of different levels. 1. Alistair Brownlee has proven himself to be the very best triathlete at the Olympic distance when he is healthy and 2 NONE of these althletes who can compete at this level can remotely be called "losers". 3. Calling Alistair Brownlee a loser. That really is egg on the face! Have you ever trained and completed a triathlon? It's tough work! Armchair athletes need not give their opinions. They aren't worth much!
@markalexander-warne58793 жыл бұрын
I really want to see a clip of when he was in the lead. I have read about it, but haven't seen it yet.
@rogerc233 жыл бұрын
@@markalexander-warne5879 Lol yeah I was really overstepping it with that comment. He had an amazing race. I like the Brownlee’s a lot. His new book is out so I’ve just waiting to buy it as well. Oh and yeah I’ve completely a decent amount of triathlons. Pretty good in my age group.
@markalexander-warne58793 жыл бұрын
@@rogerc23 I am glad that you have changed your tune. Even the 55th place finisher in an Olympic tri is a champion for just being in the top 55 in the world! We need to respect these amazing athletes. Good that you are also a triathlete. We know the hard work that goes into it and appreciate it that a truly spectator only fan never will. Good luck in your next triathlon. No hard feelings. I just couldn't help comment on someone who called the young Alistair Brownlee a loser! Look at the guts (and talent) it took to go out in front of all those other Olympians in the run! LOL. I am also an age grouper and even though I have now reached the last age group, I'm still at it!

Frodeno, didn't buy it then and I don't buy it now, 7th- best performance, right, the OC, I bit like Stefan Voukovic in 2000, me thinks the use of drugs, what is it with so called 'dark horses' who come from nowhere and win the gold medal, or medals- the women's is a prime example, Bridget McMahon (drug cheat) 2000, Kate Allen,did you see that run in 2004, I just don't buy it, the IOC needs to get serious on the ITU
