Cat Zulver , oh wow! Where are you finding these animal’s bodies, that have been there for a month?! What is it that you do?! I’m sure the whole experience must be very unpleasant, not just the smell. Also, as a nurse, I know that there are certain “scents” that kind of stay up your nose for quite some time after being around it. I have many times, been certain that I have a patient’s bodily fluids, in my hair somewhere, as some smells follow you everywhere you go, even after you have showered!

I know this is really an old video but I had radation therapy and it ruined my tadtebuds bit I read about several things that cause loss of smell and taste and its a zinc deficiency. I started taking a couple zinc gummie a day(about 30mg) and its really helped. Just in the rare instances that it can help you im sharing. I still can't get 100% of my tasting back to normal but I can at least taste all the tastes and my sense of smell improved immensely. Crossing my fingers for you both

When my dog kept having diahrea when we were changing his food to find out what he was allergic to was the worst smell. He's fine now but that was the month from hell. A close 2nd is when your child has a stomach virus and has either puked or had diahrea (or both) in their beds and slept in it.

Yep, I’m one too. I think we have smelled it all! Have you ladies ever had the pleasure of looking after a patient with active C.Diff?! That one usually is the worst, in my experience! Because we consider it an infectious disease, we can get away with wearing a face mask while performing personal care, it definitely helps a bit! 😊😷🤢

I have inhaled catnip by accident before, I learnt my cats don't react to it but it has such a weird smell. Also I can confirm smells can cause pain. I get migraines from certain smells and when I have a migraine I'm very sensitive to smells.

My dad had a polyp burst in his upper intestine. What came out was a mix of coagulated blood and diarrhea, all over the bed, and carpet trailing to the bathroom. The sight was alarming (he slipped in his blood in the bathroom and was too weak from blood loss to get up) but the smell is something I will NEVER forget.

Them googly eyes with them faces make me lose it every time omg priceless lol. The worse smell was magets in a fridge that sat for a month no power in a house i was cleaning, Also a full toilet that had set with urine and poop that had set as well with magets and flys. In the 90s heat however since that house had no power and had been locked tight it had reached temps of over 100 degrees internally you can imagine the smell. Their was garbage bags and everything from dirty diapers,used pads, trapped mouse traps. dead animals that had gotten in. It was bad and the pay i recieved to clean it didnt even pay enough to clean it. I gagged the whole time and i had on a mask and gloves.

Worst smell: I’ve had 59 brain and spinal surgeries and when you do not have an iv (I usually had them placed after I was asleep due to really scarred veins) they have to knock you out somehow so they use gas. They put a mask over your face (which also smells awful.) and use gas. This gas smells awful so I’m always gagging until it starts working.

Jess, I’m sure you were really glad when you could get rid of those stinky cloths forever!! You were the one who had to smell them multiple times! During the setting up stage, for this challenge. You had to get the scents on to those cloths and then peg them up between the guys for them to guess and then finally when you had to retrieve them back from the guys and dump them forever!! You guys are all great for everything you put yourselves through, all in the name of entertainment for our viewing pleasure!! Thank goodness there is no such thing as smellovision!! i volunteer at an animal ambulance. we pick up loads of dead animals ( also live ones that are injured and need help.) and dispose of them in bins that are in a cooling cel for a month before they get emptied. you can imagine a lot of new people that want to volunteer also quit pretty quick because they can't handle the smell.

Worst thing I've smelled is a warning for description- Both my roommate and I had been sick for a month, couldn't do dishes so among other things we had a crockpot with something that had meat in it .. I forgot what it was exactly, but it had molded over, maggots got in, ate all the mold, and it started molding again. Legit hurling as we opened it to clean it up when we were feeling better. WORST PART of it was.... it smelled exactly, EXACTLY like my father's breath. Close second was an abscess that had burst as I got to the emergency room.

I had a mental health social work job straight out of college and I had to go into clients’ homes. General filthiness can definitely be gag inducing, but in the summer, a person had died in my one client’s apartment building on the first floor, and I had to climb up that hot stairwell to her apartment on the second or third floor and it was nasty. I used to work on a seafood processing ship, so there were a lot of smells, and they never bothered me, but one day we were brought a load of herring to process that had not been properly iced. As the QC person, it was my job to check all incoming product. So I lift the lid off one of the container bins and immediately started wretching and heaving. Crying even!
