There is nowhere abroad where they will take everything from the man and give it to the woman and even if they give the house to the woman because of the children, the woman is going to pay for it. Most at times the government will provide accommodation and some money so the children will not go hungry. When there is a divorce, a woman can pay child support, a man can pay child support or and spousal support depending on their work and how much they earn. Some times the man or the woman can pay equalization to give them the same lifestyle they had when they were together. It all depends on paycheque. The one who earns more pay the equalization,child support or spousal support. The men make it look like no it is only men who pay, it BC looks like that because of childbirth the men usually earn more that’s why they have to pay. Also I want Ghanaians to know that nobody takes all their money bc from them. Usually it is a percentage of your earnings and BB it BC is usually an amount that cannot even hire one bedroom for a child . The man will go and rent a single room while the woman with the children will need more room that’s why the government usually help with government housing because left to them alone most women and children will be homeless.
