I personally use my reminders app everyday to mark off daily chores and activities that I need to get done like studying the word, learning a language, and I have even done brushing my teeth as one when I have really been in bad spots. It just feels good to mark them all off throughout the day and it of course reminds me of what I need to do so I stay on track. Hope this helps someone out there! God bless.

1. Waking up a little bit earlier than you need to 2. Get outside - get into some sun 3. Get moving 4. Get spiritual food from the Word (open the Bible) 5. Pray 6. Clean up your space 7. Deep work 8. Intermittent Resets (Pauses) 9. Don’t edge 10. Create a list of top 3 things to accomplish for the next day

Amen brother. I also recommend on top of reading the Bible, if God shows you something while reading, make sure to write it down. Even if it's just a verse. Maybe add a thought.

I don't agree with the second to last one. Rest is so important and, of course, you know that as well. But by not taking enough rest and scheduling things to do when you have no energy after a long day of work, you can get overworked and/or stressed. Life is not about doing as much as possible. Other than that, great video as usual!

Recently I've had to scale back how much work I do. I wasn't working in a healthy position for a healthy amount of time, so I need to find a solution. If you have a desk job and you're experiencing chest pains, it might be the same thing. That said, I look forward to a time when I throw myself into my work like that again.

Can Godly men/should Godly men play videogames? I'm not sure if I'm overthinking this or not, but this has been on my mind recently as I just got back into playing Minecraft with some people for the 1st time in probably 7 years. I'm 25, and it's been fun to just hang out with people online and to talk on discord. It's not sin, i know that, but again - It's just been on my mind a lot for the past few weeks.

Yeah it’s totally okay, just don’t let it become a god in your life and don’t let it be something you do all day long
@DigIntoGaming9 ай бұрын
Everything in moderation of course. However, pray about it. If God tells you not to do it then obey it. How many hours a day are you seeking God? If it's not more than everything else your doing in your life then you need to do it more. So if your gaming 6 hours, you should be doing at least equal to that amount seeking God. Now if you can seek God and act accordingly to the Bibles teachings while playing the game then I'd say count that as a half hour for each hour you play. What's most important is genuine, intimate connection and time with the lord. Just reading the Bible one hour a day and saying a few prayers isn't enough. Your main focus should be on the lord and your faith should be in him and only him. Don't come home from an exhausting, depressing day at work and seek secular things like video games, TV, unholy music, etc. Go to the lord in prayer and reading the word. He will restore you and nourish you. May God bless you and your loved ones in Jesus name AMEN!

There was a habit in the book, "Habits of the Household" that is, before doing anything else in the day, kneel beside your bed and say a very brief prayer (preferably out loud), thanking Him for another day and asking Him to recenter your thoughts as you start your day. I've fallen out of this habit and need to restart, but it was so impactful when I was doing it that my toddler saw me doing it and adopted it for herself. She now prays almost anytime she wakes up.
