The hymn is based on a traditional Cretan island folk song which are called Rizitiko These songs use only human voices, and praise the Cretan Land and the virtue of Liberty. Great concept 🤟

While I like the sound, I hear music structures so incredibly similar to Death, especially Sound of Perseverance album, that I can't really enjoy the album because it sounds stolen. IDK if they did it on purpose or just because of a strong influence, but it's hard to believe it's completely random. That aside, it's executed perfectly.

@@upupupandaway it's OK if you don't care for MENACE, they do sound a lot like Shuldiners DEATH, who literally invented the death metal genre, but I would not say they plagiarized them, it is very original and I will tell you driving around town with MENACE banging out bose speakers many people were giving me looks, both good and bad!!

i always seem to really like the music up until the guitar solos, maybe the sound &production is too clean sounding for my taste. i've never heard Menace before, it came on shuffle after listening to Darkthrone. i always dread when i know vocals r about to kick into a song but i was pleasantly surprised with these vocals, reminds me of L.G. Petrov.

Mr. Camus, u are entitled to your opinion, but it's a crappy one. This entire album is phenomenal in every aspect! Yes I agree they are heavily influenced by DEATH, but to me it is an honor that they picked up right where SCHULDINER left off with his passing! It was a perfect script, his legacy was complete, he created one of the founding sounds of metal, a genre labeled death it was so loud and abrasive, and it was only destiny he would pass on young. But MENACE did not copy DEATH, they CONTINUED DEATH in my opinion. Chuck would be smiling if he were reawakened and sat down with this album. I myself am a massive MENACE fan and will spread the word. We know DEATH only released 5 albums in thier short time on top of the metal scene, but this is thier 6th album, and it's called MENACE!!!! Thank you ALL OF MENACE, please keep up the good work. If Chuck and Walter" Hizenberg" White were both reborn they would be Breaking bad with blue crystal and listening to MENACE, loud as fuck, with Jesse in back going, He'll yeah, bitch!!!!
