Perhaps it's a grammatical thing.... (Still in the middle of listening so maybe you'll address this) In our lowly and present state using a more modern Hebrew we would say אב מנחם for Father comforts, and מנחם אב, to say comforting Father. Yet, in biblical Hebrew, the holy tongue, while אב מנחם might be found, מנחם אב, means Father comforts as the noun performing the action immediately proceeds the verb and the second noun would be the one receiving or acting upon, the understanding of the expression is related to the spiritual level we are on.
