That is so cool that the company decided to send out new shades at no expense to you--very bold and impressive move for them to make. It's amazing that they not only took action based on what customers were wanting, but that they did so for people who had already ordered it and owned it. (As opposed to keeping those things in mind for a future release or a future shipment.) I'm seeing a lot of comments suggesting that the emoji looks drunk. To me it looks like someone who is trying to be suave and flirtatious but failing. Or someone who is intentionally flirting in a funny way. I would probably use this in a goofy text to my husband where I'm saying something like, "So, you come here often?" or some other cheesy pickup line or over-used compliment.

I have some really flake shadows in a too faced palette. I stopped spraying my brush and instead sprayed the setting spray on a plastic or glass palette to dip my finger or brush in instead. And that worked wonders with those crumbly shadows. And it didn't feel like I just sprayed spray into the air instead of on the brush or finger. And you just need one spray. Depending how fast it evaporates.

That pink color you put on your lid has the most beautiful shift I've seen in a while. I love when colors do that! The look is beautiful and you picked some really great colors to go together. The outer corner color is probably one of my most favorite to use in the outer corner of looks I do. Taupe is tops! ;) Beautiful colors and a lovely finish! The blouse you have on looks perfect with the eye look because of the color shift in that pink. It comes off with a gorgeous light brown shift that matches really well and pink and brown are cute together, I think. Had to come back and say I think this is BEAUTIFUL on you and looks so pretty with the hair color and the outfit, Annette! It's beautiful! Maybe it looks different in person but wow...it comes off really nice together and I wouldn't change it with anything else!

Those 2 new shades are so pretty! I got my new shades fairly recently & haven't had a chance to really use them yet. I stuck them in magnetic palettes & haven't decided yet if or how I will rearrange my Menagerie palettes since they printed the shade names in the palettes. I was considering completely deconstructing both Dragon Child & Feral & then rearranging the pans by color in each palette in some way but I wasn't sure how yet. All the greens, purples & blues in one palette, the pinks, reds, yellow & browns in the other maybe? You've kind of inspired me to sit down & actually use the palettes in a more determined way. I've only swatched a few of the colors & tried a couple test looks so far just to get an idea of how the shadows would look & perform on my actual eyes. For shimmer shades & using shadow as liner I've been enjoying Esum medium. It brings out the beauty & shine of shimmers, helps it hold together& adhere to my eyelids better & prevents so much fallout. It doesn't irritate my eyes the way the other mixing medium did. Might be something you'd like using too. I liked the pastel green & pink, & was kind of hoping you would use either the Pink or Teal mascara from Color Pop. Have you seen that CP released liquid pen liners in colors too? I could see you making use of them for sure! I do agree that the pastel eye look maybe doesn't quite go with your current hair color but I still like the color combination ( even if it is classic preppy -insert new emoji here-)

If I didnt have a channel I would probably reorganize and play around with all my single and depottable shadows WAY more than I do, but I'm being realistic and I know that videos with more specific products get more views so I dont. But Id say go for it!

@@AnnettesMakeupCorner No I use either concealer or a regular eyeshadow base (like Urban Decay). I use dense brush to get into corners and then in middle of lid to intensify. Mine is super crumbly as well but I don't usually have fall out on face. PS I only use synthetic brushes.

But thats just because I dont like watching long drawn out swatches myself, so I dont want that to take up much time in my videos. I prefer this shimmer formula and think it’s an improvement. I’m using those other 2 shades that I popped out as contour and bronzer. I forgot which 2 I specifically removed but I know I can use them in a different way. I always use that naked highlighter palette for inner corners. I don’t like it on my cheeks because I feel it just sits on my skin like the wet and wild highlighters, but it’s pretty on the eyes.

I agree, I think its def a step up from the other shimmer formula! Thats a good idea to use them on your face. I never eyeshadows as bronzers or contours, I think the size of the pans just throw me off and make me not think about it. But I always reach for juvias shadows as blushes lol

Annette's Makeup Corner I use the Juvia’s Place products as highlighter but only when I already have the palette out and I’m doing my eyes. If not, I’m not going to get up and get the palette from my palette section because I’m lazy. This week I’ve been using a brush instead of a beauty sponge because I’m too lazy to go put water on it. 😂 💦 I do shop my stashes every week and sometimes put those singles in my rotation. I can’t make big makeup decisions or walk too much when I’m sleepy and getting ready for class/work. 😂🙈

I was RE-WATCHING an old vid of YOURS, and I forgot to mention a TIP, for DE- potting. Place your CELL PHONE on one of your OPENED COLOUR POP pallets. The BATTERY, since it has POSITIVE & NEGATIVE ends, is ALSO A LOW GRADE MAGNET. PERFECT for make-up depotting!!😂 WAIT A SECOND, lift your phone, carefully! Some of the pans shood be stuck to your phone! If not, keep moving it, till you hear the click! Dont forget to ALWAYS check YOUR phone for HITCHHIKER COLORS! Thanks! Basically when you do a cut crease, you use concealer to trace out, usually in your crease line and then fill it in, and your left with a sharp line in your crease and a tacky lid, and when you go in with the lid colors, the concealer will help the shadow stick on and look more vibrant, and it also give it a more editorial and sharp look. Sephora play sucks unless you like really tiny samples. I used to really like boxycharm, but I think Tribe Beauty Box is my favorite right now. Its only every other month too, so its not super expensive at the end of the year, and theyve been having some amazing products lately!

I think people were just disappointed by the order that they revealed the shades. They first showed the two bottom rows and everyone was super excited about all the amazing colors and we were all waiting for more amazingness, and all we got were 4 browns lol. I can see why some people would like them tho, I just feel like EVERYONE already owns those shadows, so why not use that space to give us something we dont already have in our collection, you know?

Annette's Makeup Corner I get what u mean but it being the Feral palette and having a wolf as part of the design, I thought it needed some browns to represent different wolf colours etc. And I think it makes it a more rounded palette. I get that some people already have some neutral brown shades and I do too, but I think the browns makes it a good travel palette as I can make several looks using just this palette. Xoxo
