I love MenaRD and Caba but the constant yelling was a bit too much! And I have a new level of respect for AngryBird. Not only did he stay calm during the entire match but he also told Punk to take it easy at the end. The professionalism was through the roof. Hats off to him!

Listen I'm 100% down for a good popoff but we all know exactly what Caba was doin'. People shout like that because they know it rattles their opponents, and if disciplined they can just retreat to "nah man I'm just being hype for my team!" There's a fine line when it comes to getting hype for your team and being a deliberate distraction. It's clear where Caba's intentions were for this -- he hasn't popped off this loudly/consistently in any of the other SFL matches I've seen so far. This was about getting in NASR's head, and honestly it was a bit of a bummer to see Punk fall for it so hard (though Punk's popoffs afterward were absolutely worth the headache lmao) It's also a shame because when you pop off like that all you're doing is escalating tension between other players who aren't necessarily asking for that vibe. Again, I'm down for the energy and for good popoffs -- this was not it. That said, it made the ending that much better. AngryBird stays my personal definition of professionalism and skill in this game. Amazing match regardless!
