It was more a troll than a lecture tho. Punk tried to beat luke with ken but couldn't do it so he mirror matched him. Fuck ass move, but a classic Mk2 trick that must be respected. But it's the match after that has me calling troll. Angry bird literally washed punk with Ken and he had luke. Karma is a bitch and angry bird made a definite statement with that win. It was so quite you could hear a pen drop in the new crib!!! That was classic fgc move!! Good shit all round!! I can't wait for week two!!

Im a DOMINICAN guy and i can see how menard got that salty ass attitude a big bunch of us dominicana have when we lose. i would give him the benefit of the doubt on that one cuz when i saw it, that is exactly what i thought, that the wrong move came out. on replaying it, it's kinda hard to tell because the move comes out just after punk jumps, so you can't tell if it's reactionary or if he had already committed. punk should have definitely lost that one.

I'm a Dominican and I wanted Mena to win but I won't take away anything from Punk, he's amazing too, and worked hard for that win so good for him. And seeing him yelling was hilarious, that mental game really got to Mena. Anyway, this tournament has way too many Lukes and this isn't good, I want to see more flexibility here. I hope the next week we have other characters, I'm already sick and tired of these Luke mirror matches, they are kind of boring.

It is sad how Luke can both make Mena look like a god and then look like a bot when Punk gives into the dark side and plays Luke as well. It's like Mena is A or S tier and Punk is SS+ tier, and Luke is SSS+++ tier. Sad times for SFV. Happily, we should have SF6 soon. Unhappily, I didn't see any link or code in my email for beta and so I'm sad over that. While there do seem to be some kinks they need to work out, SF6 looks fun from what I've seen so far.

Punks power is linked to his confidence. Once he makes his opponent nervous and smells fear it can be almost impossible to stop him from winning. When Punk is nervous he is veeery quiet and humble, with not a pop off in sight, if anything he smiles and laughs to himself at points during the game. I can't recall who he was playing but he lost... Punk was quiet and focusing hard on the match the whole time. When he lost he simply got up and went back to his seat peacefully like he was Daigo, it was mad to observe... It was very unPunklike.

It's October 2022 and we're still having high-profile venues accidentally reverse the L/R stereo. Freaking if SF6 has a "tournament mode", the very first thing it that needs to happen when the user picks this mode is it tests the stereo audio, and then gives the user the choice of swapping channels if they somehow f---ed it up on their end. Wow I see alot of debate about if Luke is broken or not and there are good arguments for and against so I’d like to throw in also. I don’t play this game not once i just enjoy this level of play so much but as a fan of fair fights dude looking like a high tier character pick. Puck not known for that character as far as I’ve seen but after getting wiped by him 2 times he picked him himself. This tells me a fan of puck 1) dude was pressed and pissed 2) he felt he had a better chance with character that he has way less successful with. Meaning when it was do or die he picked Luke that tells me the character is a strong character so strong that he came back and won. There’s an important take away there character match up didn’t matter like a rush down trying to get in on a zoner, so it came down to just there own skills and dropped combos or not Puck won with the character that was to be fair destroying him sure there’s a lot aways this matchup could be broken down but at the end all that matter was a dude walked away with the win using Luke.
