Those LED lights do put put quite a lot of illumination. I have seen people paint the lights to dim them.

I have two of the Menards bridges and I’m thinking about changing the lights on them or maybe painting them would dim them down enough. That’s a great idea!

I understand how you feel. No one likes to receive a damaged item. I did a return once previously with Menards regarding my Starbucks building. Being in Texas, I do not have a store in the region. And you have to email to do a return, and their response time (it will probably take several emails to get a response) is very, very slow. I got a replacement Starbucks, no credit. But with this coal tipper, the problems were from being bumped around in shipping and were all resolved with a little glue. It works perfectly and is now back to 100%. If I went through all that hassle and returned it and they shipped me a new one, that one would also likely get beat up in shipment as well and I would be back in the same position, or worse. Or maybe not, but I'd rather just keep this one now that it is fixed.

It looks ok, but that's all it's good for. Has no action to it. It should load coal in a hopper car. Needs some realism.

Right, it is all about the aesthetics. Movements on Menards buildings, if they have any at all, are limited to simple things like a moving vehicle, spinning fans or helicopter blades. Nothing too complex.
