Pada umumnya manusia dari kecil dipengaruhi dan diwarnai oleh lingkungannya, sampai kehilangan kemerdekaan diri dimata Tuhan. Inilah yang harus kita hindari, kita harus bebas dan merdeka dari pengaruh dunia. Sebab hanya orang yang berani memisahkan diri dari dunia yang diterima oleh Allah. Kekristenan memanggil kita untuk menjadi manusia Allah. Keadaan batiniah kita harus diproses sejak kita didunia ini. Kita membutuhkan Tuhan setiap hari untuk membuka mata batin kita dan mengenal diri kita di hadapan Tuhan. Betapa berharganya waktu yang Tuhan berikan, untuk kita digarap oleh Tuhan dengan meninggalkan segala ketertarikan dunia, agar kita layak masuk kerajaan kekal Allah.
