I don't get it. Why Mendel get credit for inheritance. The Bible in Genesis says inheritance happens among plants, trees, animals and humans. The Biblical text in Genesis is 3,500 years old. The credit for biological inheritance should CLEARLY be given to the Bible and Genesis. I don't get it.

not everyone is a christian dear and that's why science exist, to explain the systematic methodologies around us without correlating it to the bible.

@@captainlevi9778 You do know that Mendel was an Augustinian Priest in the Monastery of St. Thomas?

@@mdb1239 i know dear, but he is also a scientist. there's separation between faith and science, just because u believe bible is the basis of everything, doesn't mean everyone has to conform with that. that's why science exist for such reason.

@@captainlevi9778 As part of the judgement of Noah's Flood that wiped out humans from the Earth for being violent, murderous and evil, God limited maximum human lifespan to around 120 years. Noah lived to be around 950 years. The Bible implies that the around 120 year limit happened around 3600 years ago (from 950 to around 120). This has happened because the God of the Bible willed/wills it. The oldest (recent) verified person was Jeanne Calment (1875 -1997). She lived to her 122s. She experienced the exponential growth of medical knowledge/treatments. These days the oldest people on Earth live to their 119s and this is with medical treatments and knowledge growing at an exponential rate. The POWER of exponential growth can be seen over the last 80 years in computer processing. The exponential grown in computer processing over the last 80 years has increased computer processing power over 40,000 fold! Medical knowledge/treatments have increase exponentially over the last 80 years and maximum human lifespan has NOT INCREASED (if any thing it has slightly decreased) at all -- humans are stuck at around 120 years. Exponential growth in computers results in a 40,000 fold increase in computing performance (this is the expected result). Exponential growth in medical knowledge/treatments has resulted in ZERO growth to maximum human lifespan. -- 40,000X increase vs a slight decrease. The God of the Bible exists and affects the lives/life of every human being on Earth today -- that is RIGHT NOW including you and me.

He gets credit because he established an understanding of how inheritance works, people have known that inheritance exists likely before the Bible was written

@PHOENIX bro first of all you are comparing Khan academy to evidhyarthi That's like comparing a pond to the ocean There are vast videos of education in khan academy in compare of evidhyarthi You have no point to justify the winner between them And yes the winner is khan academy
