This might be my favorite interpretation of this Song. I appreciate the variations between legato and non-legato/staccato that give it a lot of grace without sacrificing its passion. And I wish I could achieve that level of clarity when the melody is in the left hand!

Ive been playing for years and still have trouble with this piece and upper level level difficulty pieces in general...Do you have any advice for me? Thanks again for your performance

Thank you, Carl. This Mendelssohn is deceptively difficult to play! I'd always recommend doing a lot of slow/careful practice and separate hand practice, then give yourself a 'performance' up to tempo without stopping at the end of a session. Variate the type of practice you do daily so you always keep motivated. Good luck!
