The model looks great, the choice of colours seem a bit to stark and light for german colour to me.

The internals are great if you want to build one blown up, under construction, etc. Otherwise not really much use. This is an excellent kit, fits together like Lego.

Thanks for the tutorial and build of the Meng A7V. Yes I have learnt a few more techniques. There's a A7V in the Australian War memorial in Canberra, which was captured in 1918. I think it is the only one in existence. There a replica of one in Tank museum at Bovington,in England. a very good replica. Thanks the build and paint job are great.

Agree with other comments; what a green. Also, according to the documents those tanks were not too muddy but dusty due to the slow motion and time in combat. Finally I think this tank deserves to be also observed inside, so, as I did on mine, I kept the roof mobile placed on two IPN made from scratch in order to show the interior. All that said this model from Meng rocks as all other models from this brand. If you never tried; go for it!

I agree. Some means must be made to show interior details. I am surprised that Meng did not put pins to allow the roof to be lifted because most of the kit is interior parts. The green color is an odd shade, is it historically accurate? The A7V at Bovington shows a deeper shade applicable to modern tank vehicles. Anyone help out here?

@@lordofdunvegan6924 Hi, I tried to gather a lot of references to determine the best color set. I have a picture with color mixture. I cannot upload it here but I will find a public host and then provide the link. Interested?

I have recently finished the A7V from the other company........now I have seen the Meng kit. Wow!!! what a major difference, so much more quality detail. It's on my to build list. Great build and paint job, but not sure on the green.
@colinmarble25524 жыл бұрын
Nick Butler, I agree. The green they used looked lime or almost fluorescent. It should be olive drab.

Not possible. What did you mean when you said without glue? The tracks cannot be assembled without glue.. Do you meant you use cement?
@edwardcairns8496 жыл бұрын
The track links don't use glue. They clip together beautifully with absolutely no problems.
