John Green you are very seriously one of my heroes ❤️‍🔥 I've watched your career, esp with your PBS channels almost since you started, and to find you are also a passionate footie fan is pretty great! And your empathy for Pep speaks well of you. My suggestion for his health would be to get as far away from the wealth-sick Oil Royal who owns the team he manages... like yesterday! Am I the only person who saw that the scratches that appeared over his head and face happened *right before* his contract was extended? My almost immediate thought was 'holy shit. Pep got slapped around a bit!!' For me, the Prem has been corrupted and the competition will not become legitimate again until Mancity are held accountable to the absolute maximum that can be done. Pep needs to take another sabbatical in New York where he was happy!

This format is miles better and more interesting than the old one. I’m sure it will get tweaked here and there in the future, but the simple fact that you get matches like Liverpool vs. Real Madrid in the early stages is just fantastic.

I am... *so* sick of Milan wasting Pulisic's goals. Once again he saved their @sses... *and* secured Milan a spot in the top 8... only to have Milan's midfield and defense literally race themselves to see who could give up a stupid goal the quickest. This has become such an obvious pattern that you should do a whole episode on it. SomeI ne tell me I'm wrong! I swear to allgodsrealandimagined I can't watch this *expletive delete* anymore 🤬 Also... Musah's red didn't cost them a goal. Gabbia and Maignon's buffoonery did.

The format is good but there are too many teams. Some of these teams should really be in Europa

This new format looks forced. I do not think the old format, which is also the same for the World Cup, needs any change. Gives some smaller more chances but they could do that as pre CL phase playoff. I miss the home and away between the same teams. Feels more complete.
