Remember:
Meninges are supplied by meningeal branches of the three divisions of trigeminal and cervical nerves as well as other cranial nerves such as glossopharyngeal and vagus.
- Anterior cranial fossa, mainly by ethmoidal branches of V1
- Middle cranial fossa by menigeal branches of V2 and V3 (nervous spinosum)
- Posterior cranial fossa by meningeal branches of cranial nerves IX and X as well as cervical nerves.
- Headache is a referred pain carried by meningeal branches of trigeminal divisions or other cranial nerves .
