It's fun to listen to the unbridled comments of the men. So witty. Dr.Hillman's retorts were brilliant. I as a woman feel like a voyeur listening .Inspiration does come during these late night awakenings as well.

I read in the Zohar that at midnight God comes to the garden to meet with sincere souls...Those who practice and study Torah always rise at midnight...It's not all about the negative or evil demons...

Well.. as Hillman says, quoting the poet Widen Auden, at the beginning of his talk on Jung's Red Book, "We are lived by powers we pretend to understand"..

The moving mind is the samsara, or "shield" that Hillman speaks of. The point is to become aware, allowing the demons, Nixes, or archetypal energies, constellated complexes, and the Gods to come and instruct you. If this bothers you, perhaps it is that to which you should pay attention. Dreams come to those who wait.

Daddy’s, wasn’t he the psychologist? He always talked about the characteristics. Maybe , in differences.

yes, we need to wake up to the demons, and not just the 'personal' ones

_"Daemon", in its Greek origin, originally intends the meaning of "genius". One who is a genius is said to "have an attendant spirit" who ... is guiding their thoughts on account of their asking. Such that, it is not you, but that which you channel thru you, that is the geni, the daemon._ _The Greeks did NOT make the modern distinction we moderns do, automatically. You had to distinguish _*_"good"_*_ (agatha-) daemon or _*_"bad"_*_ (kako-) daemon. We now say "demon" means "bad spirit". And instead use the word "angel" (which is a nice word) for "good spirit". My point is this _*_split_*_ does not exist in the original. Consider this carefully._ _The point may be over your head, but still, the notion of "daemon" must be understood in this following broad context of ..... a channel ..... for intelligent energy and light/love. Allowing _*_It_*_ to manifest in your life ...... herein space-time ...... know the realm you seek exists in ...... time/space). Flip inside out. Trample on your clothes in the field._ _Here, a flash, then it vanishes_ *_Daemon_*

You get older. You pee more at night. You get up to pee. You go back to bed. That's all.
