The last rear wheel drive car to win a rally championship was the lancia 037 but these group b hollomagation cars are just the best I know it's know one of the 200 turbo 2s but wow what a car the the metro 6r4 the pug t16 and the Delta s4 are just a few of my favourite rally cars it's crazy that manufacturers actually built cars like this

Moar revs on launch. I have a mid engined N/A rally car with sticky tyres. It has a Quaife ATB diff in a strong gearbox. I've also been around drag racinfg for 30 years and decided to try a few of their tricks getting the rally car off the start line. I launched it at about 5500 - 6000rpm. It just squats & goes. No bogging, no wheelspin as all the weight transfers onto the rear wheels. Not broken anything yet. - Don't slip the clutch, just side step it.

Glorious beast.... I had a T2 for quiet a few years back in the day - I loved it I did. One thing I'm curious about is who converted it to right hand drive as the factory only even made them in left hand drive. Fab though - makes me miss my old girl....

The F7R engine (mounted in the Clio Williams when the F7P was mounted in the Clio and 19 16s) has been used in the Clio and Megane Rally group A and gave between 250 to 270 bhp from a naturally aspirated 2L engine. Edit : this car can probably become Akram Junior (French sports car youtuber and brother of Mansour "TAG" Ojeh) or GMK (another French sports cars youtuber) wet dream. _Complètement aberrant cette jeune R5!_

My mate took over an old yard back in the late 80s and was told to get rid of the old rusty cars for scrap, called out scrap man and in the back of the garage under a plastic sheet was a Renault T5 in red, rusty but well repairable, tried for years to get it off him, not a chance
