Mental Health and Meows Announcement!!

Mama G Gear will be holding her online auction for her charity,
"Mental Health and Meows".
I am donating a lovely 100% cotton poncho, never worn.
The pattern is "Iced Blue Lace" by Ursala ‪@OMGrannySquare‬
Uraale does excellent tutorials and this beautiful poncho is a
lot easier than it looks!!

I've seen if you choose names here on KZbin there are so many people with the same names where they pick a name but most quit and didn't go any farther than making a channel and picking a name. I don't understand much why people worry about names it's not like any of us are getting rich from any of this. So is there someone else claiming they have the same name as you?

My user name has been taken on other platforms, and someone on KZbin using yarn_barf. I gave a LOT of thought to come up with a clever, easy to remember, and unique user name. And only 8 letters to type. And I also wanted something that would make people smile or laugh. So, sure, my nose gets out of joint when someone can't come up with their OWN unique user name. I am sure that Crystal would not appreciate it if someone tried to appropriate her user name. Most people would probably be offended or annoyed also. It's like the user name that I used to have, "NJKatwoman". I'm still scattered all over the internet with that user name. I could probably claim copyright on my user name.

@@YARNBARF ohhhh. Okay I see now. I wasn't really sure exactly what you were saying that's why I asked. I started my name and had to change it too. Actually twice. First I picked Posh Crochet and began selling written patterns and then a while afterwards found out that someone else had it I checked Google first could not find anything on Posh Crochet. But then I did and I didn't want trouble so I changed it to Posh Crochet Patterns then I added the DIY. I knew someone else who picked a name on KZbin too and there five other people with that same exact name but of course they all quit at some point. You would think KZbin wouldn't allow people to have the same exact name profile channel name but they do. I'm not sure how everything works with names and maybe it matters with copyright and well I geuss if someone has money or not do something about it. I've heard of social media attorneys but have never tried to find one. I do understand what it's like to pick a name and start something and then find out someone else has it too. But what I would do is not focus on it focus building your name for yourself and everything will all come together. When I messaged I truly did not know exactly what your were talking about just knew you mentioned someone had your name I didn't mean any disrespect at all I'm not a mean person I don't like to hurt people or upset people, basically my intentions were just wondering what you were talking about is all. But you could look into copyrightting, or social media attorneys. And yeah I'm sure Crystal would be upset, heck anybody would be in some kind of way but yeah I know which Crystal your talking about and she's built a name for eleven years and has become famous she probably at some point a few years ago probably paid for rights to that name maybe. There might be away to pay for the rights to a name through KZbin.
