Didn't expect to learn so much about marriage or parenting. I'm still young and definitely not close to being a parent yet, but will definitely be applying this to my life in the future. The way to raise my son/daughter so they feel safe with the right kind of touch, and to respect their distance. Solid advice for keeping my ego in check when I'm married. Not easy but simple. Thanks a bunch!

Hey guys! 32 mins in and I started bawling out man! I really needed to hear this episode. I’m a 36 yr old guy and still trying to figure out life. I started working out (6’ 225lbs 😅) and found that it has helped with some issues but I feel it hasn’t been enough. I know I’ve had traumas growing up but was always taught men don’t cry because you become a wuss bag. I need to take care of my mental health too. I will talk to my wife and open up today. Anyway, I just found you guys about 2 months and been hooked! You guys are definitely knowledgeable and wise. Thanks a lot and many blessings!! 😊❤

Great episode. This episode has really hit home and enforced that I am on the right track. My wife and I have six kids, one of which has autism and requires 24 hour supervision. I have only learned in the last few weeks to ask why I am feeling something. To see what the root cause is. It has made me such a better husband and father. I am on my journey to get healthy and that should result in 70lbs of weight loss when I am done. You guys have shown me that path does not need to be one of self hate. I haven't lost any wieght yet but I feel the best I have in years and weighing in at 250 look the best I have in years as well. My wife has been enjoying my new levels of energy. Thank you for all your advice. I was doing things wrong for so long.

My wife and I both grew up in broken homes. But I'm confident that we grew from the experience and rather than echoing our parents' mistakes, we've both learned from them. Still, I'm sure there's a wee, little bit of baggage somewhere, but we're determined not to let that impact our future kids.

I am so glad you apologized to the woman that was on the show a few weeks ago. The one that you told her that simply eating less was cheaper. I thought that was so rude and certainly very inconsiderate. A person wrote to you for help and you basically mocked her. As for this episode, great information. My grandparents have been self isolating since the beginning of 2020. It breaks my heart that I haven't seen them in three years. They've missed half of my child's life. I love the alarm system thinking. I've been saying that for a long time. The reason so many of us have anxiety is because humans have changed their behaviors so drastically and way faster than we could ever evolve. i.e. our lives are so UN-natural to us now. We are still cavemen! But now we work in offices, have bills, deal with medical insurance crap, etc. Anxiety and depression are alarms telling us that something isn't right in our lives.

Other Kids at 12 do not want to go over to the one kids house with over bearing parents,... he wants to play games let him, you need to trust him. Sure you can go thru his phone every once in a while but let him develop some social media skills, and teach him how to navigate the internet so he doesnt end up as a Andrew tate follower because his inner deep thoughts align with such and such guru, you can shelter and teach your kids manners but their deep thoughts the ones that most people suppress and especially the ones that we dont tell OUR parents about. Those thoughts you will not control, so you need to teach him how to navigate the shit amount of information and how to utilize it, because if you Do not now, your relying on him to figure it out, or not, or some skewed mindset teacher at school to teach them how to identify information, and what influence is....... STOP SHELTERING I wish I could scream that at people
