Man. Thanks so much for putting this up. This is a remarkable conversation among this young man's mom and the LE agencies. We have extensive drug and alcohol problems in this country, contributing to mental health issues. We see it in behavior, in the state of our workforce, in the state of our families. Not to be political, but we have billions for technology companies, but nothing for well-run rehab? Here, we see enforcement trying to help with the laws that will give this mom (and society) relief and her son help. We hear how difficult it is to find competent help. Wishing everyone well. So sad that this young man cannot get the help he truly needs. His mom's pleas just break my heart. Prayers for all involved. Thank you for two concerned Troopers and a super nice deputy sheriff. You three gentlemen deserve some help with ways to really help the mental health side of folks. I'd be interested in talking to the Pastors who talked him out of his mental health meds....Look for a church with a Celebrate Recovery program, but please get his mental health situation balanced first.

That dude's mind is wacked out in lunacy. Mother can't get him mental health treatment until he is drug cleaned but drug rehab keeps releasing him after 7 days. I feel the mother's frustration. Hopefully they can get her help for him.

Speak for yourself. I’m grateful for every breath I’m given. I’m grateful for everything that has been entrusted to my care. I’m grateful for a sound mind and good health. I’m grateful to have all my limbs and that they work as they’re intended to. I used to be somewhat of a pessimist, but found that I was out-of-order & only hurting myself. It helps to look at those who are less fortunate and realize that they could be you. If you give of yourself, your time, etc. You won’t have so much time to be self-absorbed.

It's sad because there's nothing you can do! I had my Mom Taken Involuntary 7 times & they can only hold them 7 days. If they don't want to take their meds, they won't & that's when the demons come out!! It's this crap that we need funding for & it will Stop many of these Mass Shootings.. I feel for his Mother because I've been there so many times & it's hard!!

Trooper Rapert is such a kind, patient trooper. To stop in the road to pick up his shirt from the road shows compassion. This guy that left his truck needs more than those so called religious people. They have him brainwashed.

This poor mom. My God, someone health care, be it meth/drug rehab or mental health, help this poor man. What more can this mom do? Someone please help him. Now how come, when suspected drunk drivers, or drivers on possible drugs, if they refuse to blow, they automatically go to the hospital for a blood draw. If this is what the man needs, why cannot this happen? I don’t understand this at all. A blood draw would tell you a lot. This would really help the mom and the son.

I thought everyone was kind & friendly to that young man. His Mom is wanting help for her son, it's awful that she can't get the help he needs. For this young man to threaten his Mom is devastating for her. I'm worried about what he is capable of. Praying he gets help & doesn't harm is Mom. Someone qualified Please help them both. ❤🇺🇸🚑

The officer didn’t know at first how mentally sick this poor man is. He looked like he was being disrespectful at first. That is why that happened. But after they found that out, you can see the change in the officers. Some times, the suspects have guns or knives. Again, this officer did not know. That was why he was put on the ground. I am sure they feel as bad as we do for this guy.
