Ryan. I love your style. I am also an Acupuncturist. I tell all my patients. I don’t know if I can help. I don’t heal. You and your body heal. I do my best to jump start you. My work won’t do harm. It may hurt for a minute. I’ll do my best to minimize discomfort. I have practiced both professions. You are so real

In 35 years of RDH work temping most of the time (it works for my personality), I only worked in 4 offices that used dry heat. It is limiting because of time required. All of the offices were perio offices. For general practice ETH gas. Thank you. Yes I am into cryoto. That’s why my computer capitalized ETH

So, I have been a BIGGG hater of this entire topic of Community Dentistry and Patient Management. As a dental student, I often used to skip these classes and tell the teacher I have stomach pain and/or fever. Fast forward to today, I scored a 15/15 plus I did the mastery app and Dental Decks where I scored approx 85 percent on each. I thank you for making the most boring 💤 subject of Dentistry , bearable (I wont say least boring, because it still is) But I am glad I didn't sleep or have a stomach ache through it 🤣

Firstly thank you so much for the super helpful videos. I have a doubt. In question no. 8 shouldn't we be using more structure in establishing rapport with an anxious patient ? or otherwise answer can be both a and b.
@eddietan84032 жыл бұрын
I agree I think this is a mistake. The question should be saying "More Structure" not less - but perhaps I'm confused about what more/less structure means?

Hi Ryan, every time I’m doing your practice questions (thank you for that) as I am ruling out options I use a mental black marker to try to remove those answers out, do you think at your explanation it would be a good idea to rule options out?? Thank you for your wonderful work!!
@mentaldental4 жыл бұрын
Yes! I think ruling out options as you're thinking through a question like these is always a great mental strategy.

thank you doc for these videos. I am having a doubt regarding practice question 15 . for this question why cant be habitution (coping technique) as answer. thank you.
@mentaldental3 жыл бұрын
Habituation is not an answer choice, otherwise I could see that being a correct option as well.
