Lior is a magician doing tricks, not a mindreader. If you want a clue that he is a magician, consider how he describes what he does as 'The Art of Astonishment' which is the title of a VERY famous book by a much-respected magician called Paul Harris.

Yes, Lior does indeed seem to have mentalist gifts. But he ties in a lot of gimmickry and trickery into his shows. The moving and bending objects are just tricks such as lifting the glasses, same with locating metal coins (metal detector), setting the watch (gimmick with the spindle), touching one person, and having another feel it ("invisible" thread). The "mind-reading" tricks are also cool, though I believe that there is trickery there too. He often asks a person to write down responses before his mentalist displays. He then tears up the paper in such a way as to read the responses, or has a mole read the impression on the paper beneath.
