You can save money to get your own place eventually but if mom gets fed up with you not helping around the house, then you better start helping or looking around for a place of your own. Most mothers like their children at home because they feel lonely once we move out especially if they are single parents but not every parent feels this way. I moved out as soon as possible but I didn't have a fabulous relationship with my mother and once you move out trust me you will never move back but it isn't easy out on your own so be sure before you move out that it's what you truly want to do. ❤
