The neutrotoxin vats been renamed to "sythesis vault". A new structure that provides you with 3 support powers: Regen Drugs(self-explainatory) , Wondering Drugs(an upgraded version of the Regen Drugs) and the Quick Fort. But this is something that you can totally see in the offical website of the mod, since it's been updated to show the new changes in the upcoming patch.

You don't need the disc. It works with the C&C ultimate collection which is a digital collection of all C&C games. The only issue you have is that you have to buy it from EA on their Origin service. If that doesn't bother you then go ahead
