As someone from Kentucky the phrase, "Finger licking good" refers to the gravy. The Col. seen someone stick their finger in the gravy to get the last drop out and thought of the slogan. Also, Lee's Famous Recipe founder Lee Cummings was Col Sanders nephew and was given a startup loan/gift to start his chain of chicken restaurants.

My favorite from KFC is the cole slaw and chicken. But with the chicken the breading and skin is the best part! I'll peel off the skin and eat it before I'd eat the meat. Their Cole slaw and Long John Silver's is basically the same. I just love that stuff but only from those two places.

Did you guys know that Maddox restaurant in Brigham City is actually the Original Recipe of KFC? I believe it was the Colonel's sister that opened the place when KFC went bigtime. It's still open. We have family reunions there whenever there's a funeral on my dad's side. Check it out. It's a great place

😱😭 There used to be a shopping center with a Popeye's and a KFC in it (two different ends of the center). I used to order chicken from Popeye's and then drive over to KFC for the wedges. 🤣 KFC has since left that center, so I didn't realize the wedges were gone. 🥺

I grew up as the kid with expensive taste (family owned butcher shop). Make friends with your local butcher. Prices can be similar to commercial grocery stores, but higher quality eats. They can also keep you in mind for sales and off cuts. A 'delmonico' steak is what we referred to as "the poor man's ribeye." Tastes great but saves the wallet.

You guys have to do the Pizza challenge. Get Jess to buy normal pizza toppings and toppings that normally don’t go on pizza. Then place the good and bad toppings individually into bags with numbers on it and then put numbers into a jar and then pick the a number from the jar and what ever number you get to choose the bag with that number and then you keep on going until your pizza is complete, cook it and then eat it.😂😂 You both need to do it!!

Watching this at 2 o'clock in the morning was a huge mistake and that shouldn't have taken hindsight. 🤣 This was great though even though I'm now starving for some KFC. Their MTN dew is so good! I'm glad Austin mentioned the peach-os/peach rings cause I made the exact same comparison when I tried it a few years back. KFC is overall good but there fries are surprisingly very good, taste like they've been fried in the same taste as the chicken. They're great and their gravy is untouchable, it compliments the entire menu. Their honey mustard is also very good! Great video as always y'all! 👏🏼

In the "70's, we used to spend Sundays at my grandparents. When my grandmother couldn't cook any more, we always got KFC. When they came out with extra crispy, I HAD to have extra crispy!!

KFC's Pot Pie is the bomb! I get one every time I order from there and sometimes save it for the next day. Try it reheated over mashed potatoes or rice. As for stories about KFC - I used to deliver for the KFC in Key West. Including during Tropical storms! Met some of the craziest people. 😄😄

I haven't been to kfc in years but I live in the states and we had the twisters back in the 90s. Until they revamped the menu and made 5 dollar meal deals though everyone around here would just get buckets of chicken. My mom would get kfc at least once a month growing up and we never had the twisters.

Okay. As a Kentuckian, I’ve gotta stand up for my state here. The KFC in Utah first thing is a technicality. Colonel Sanders first had his chicken restaurant in Corbin, KY. Then the first franchising was in Utah. But there was 22 years between them. For 22 years it was just the Corbin branch of the Sanders’ chicken restaurant, which is still there. Then Sanders decided to take his chicken recipe to other restaurants and franchise it for a cut of their chicken sales. It was a sign painter who even chose the “Kentucky Fried Chicken” name, because it apparently it lended to an exotic image. Yeah, Kentucky. Exotic. That’s us, alright.

I love your videos! It’s so fun to see Cameron in his element 😅 I used to work at a kfc back in 2015 for almost a year. I loved helping to open the store doing all the prep, and they of course have the cook who does majority of the chicken. My daughter turned 15 while I worked there and she loved the famous bowl (as did I) and also the chicken sandwich, wings and mashed potatoes and gravy. I love the crispy chicken and I like all the sides, even the slaw lol, we do have beans here. I like the tenderloins w honey mustard sauce or barbecue. Chicken sandwich is yummy and the pot pie is delicious.😋 Got me hungry watching this one Lol love you guys ❤

Hi guys, as always I LOVE your videos, lol funny. I'm from 🇨🇦 Canad eh. (Outskirts of Toronto, Ontario). Yes, we have KFC here but I'm not so sure the gravy is the same recipe because we really don't love it the way you guys did. Also, I'm not so sure that we have all of these choices available either, although I'm not one to get this chicken maybe once year or less at the drive thru and we have always bought a side salad, fries w gravy, and original bucket of chicken. It's very expensive here. approximately $40. for just this. Anyhow, looking forward to your next video.

You might not think much to coleslaw but lots of people love it. Also for people like me who are lactose intolerant it’s the only kfc side I can eat. Of the chicken the only thing I can eat is popcorn chicken (the rest of the chicken has milk in it). Atleast in uk this is the case. So if I order kfc my order would be popcorn chicken, coleslaw, fries & a soda drink

I personally LOVE the pot pie, famous bowl, original recipe chicken and the mashed potatoes and gravy. Their gravy is magical, but man pot pie shocked at how great it was because I'm usually someone that enjoys pot pies but theirs is excellent!!

I've always done the bowls too! But I had a system, and two variations. I don't want or need cheese in my bowls! I still get odd looks for my bowls to this day, so I know the feeling! Main formulation: mix the mashed potatoes and corn with salt and pepper. Then add gravy, then shredded chicken. Super simple but good. Variation 1) Rice instead of potatoes Variation 2) With the main bowl, add stuffing before the gravy.
