This is a true story from a little over 50 years ago. My parents had only been married a couple of years and had just bought their first house. They had the sweetest elderly neighbors. The neighbor always tried to get my dad to eat a certain southern delicacy.....my dad said he would never try it and my mom already knew what it tasted like & refused to eat it. One evening, my parents were invited to supper and my dad took a bite of the stew and loved it......the neighbor grinned and said, "I finally got you to try possum stew." 🤣 My dad didn't finish the bowl.

I think the one thing (two things) holding this channel back is individuality. The strong resemblance to GMM and the logo looking like MTV’s is I think what puts people off. There are SO MANY people that just copy other creators content and it gets so old and people have started to respect original creators and deny channels that copy others. I love you guys! I’ve been watching y’all for a couple years now but I wish y’all didn’t remind me so much of GMM (I was a diehard fan and stopped watching/supporting them once they became millionaires and stopped making their own content and just started showing up and reading a script). GMM has a lot of fun games and it’s hard to come up with something that doesn’t at least resemble their content (Try Guys do it, Sorted Food does it, but they make it their own). I just feel like the female voice over sounding like Stevie, two guys sitting at a desk, the white boards, even the into of “answer the age old question” that GMM does in Will It, is just too much alike. C’mon now y’all!!! You guys are hilarious and can change these things to make them your own and not come off as a copycat channel. I feel like if y’all became more individualistic and different that so many more people would watch!! I’m sure y’all have heard this before and maybe y’all don’t want to change and are happy with copying what TTG and GMM do, but the format has been done and people need something new! 💕
