I love how you have such a depth of vision which brings out the depth of color. When you get to a certain point the work looks done to most people, but then you add more layers and it becomes stunning. Beautiful ; )

THANKYOU for posting the colours you used down in the left corner. It makes learning from a video MUCH less challenging. Now, if only I'd purchased the 150 box instead of the 132! :-(

Chris you are awesome. Did you go to art school or you are born with the art in you. I have watched many people but no one like you. I am just wondering if it can be learnt. It is so hard for me to visualise what the colours will look like before I see them on paper.

Chris, I've been having trouble on this one getting so many layers. Especially thru ground areas. I've been Using a light hand, but is there some ideas that might help me? Also I was wondering if your light is always coming straight down? I've only tried this one and one other and did not notice a light direction I'm new at this so please pardon the questions. I enjoy your work so much I really want to learn from you and believe me, I have learned so much from you just watching!!! Thank you again.

This looks gorgeous, I love how you are coloring. I bought the other book of the author "Rhapsody of the forest", its such a lovely book, but I have real problems. My colored pencils - Polychromos and Prismacolors - work terrible on the paper, and I have a really hard time to get good results. I love the pictures so much, but it is so exhausting to color, that I'm loosing motivation. Watercolor works fine and waterbased markers also, but thats not the same. How is your experience with your book? Your colors work fine apparently.

Thank you for watching my video. I love the book and paper quality, it works fine to me :)

Caren K Really, the paper is great. Sorry you're having problems. You must - must - use very light layers. I've noticed most colorists' hands look like they're exerting more pressure than they actually are. Try not to watch their hands but the results. I speak from experience. :) Get the very light pressure thingie down and you'll have most of it licked. Good luck!
