Menyedihkan! Batu Sapi - Forgotten Sandakan's Gem.

Batu Sapi literally means Cow's Rock. Basically it resemble the shape of a three legged cow. Legend has it that the cow is protecting the village from crocodile attack and had lost its leg in the fight. It was said that lightning struck the courageous cow and turned it into stone.
Legend aside, this rock formation is really a marvel just to witness. How on earth such small stone underneath can withstand the full weight of the stone. It is not even balance right.
This rock formation was created by water erosion, current and waves over millions of years.
However, it is very saddening looking at the condition of the park. Rubbish is everywhere. Granted that the rubbish may be coming from the sea and washed ashore. But so much can be done such as putting some protective netting to stop the rubbish or regular clean up.
Mosquitos were also a problem mainly due to the rubbish in the first place.
I really hope Sandakan Authority will do something about this. However watching other KZbin, it seems like the rubbish had been a problem for many years.
