Exercised esoteric sciences, lyrical potency and tactical ability in a way we haven’t seen in a battle for a long time (NAS, Pac, Quik, Cube). The real issue people are having is his commemoration of PAC and their desperate business ties with the defeated. Let's just say he did...so what! The NFL is a BUSINESS and they think about numbers and crowd response...not who came from where. Kendrick is HOT this year and EVERYBODY knows and enjoys his music...White and Black! It makes more sense to choose the artist that's blowing the world up right now, is about the culture, and a perfect candidate to perform during Black History Month! Wayne literally told y'all ni**as that he doesn't support BLM, he doesn't believe that racism exists and he supports Blue Lives Matter. Also, nobody wants to hear him forget his lyrics, scream in the mic, and sing about licking a lollipop in front of their kids! I'm so tired of people singing that goofy lament over Wayne not getting the SB...it literally is a page out of the mediocre White guy manual when a person of color gets into a job, school, position of power, etc over them...its the entitlement for me.
@kemgreen3306Ай бұрын
Math, sometimes you are way to passionate about things that don't require that type of passion. Logically, you can't ignore Drakes career and music benefiting for 15 years or so and then get so righteous when he complains about someone else reaping the same benefits he enjoyed for years! Your emotions are all over the place so much so that you can't even hear the totality of the situation. Kendrick deserves the same heat or passion that you are giving Drake...both are artists and deserve better. You screaming about poor Drake you fail to see the damage he is doing to Kendrick and himself. This argument and lawsuit should have happened 15 years ago when there was no battle, that's IF it really is important to combat this system you are dismissing everyone else from responding too. I don't know if you realize this but it's so disrespectful to cut people off while in the middle of their thought process and responses, while you get to flail around and yell over other people, telling them that they need to drop it or dismissing their points that are just as valid as yours. Calm down brother and lets listen to EVERYONE'S intellectual contributions.

@RachelleA73Ай бұрын
@@livelifeent7528 I get why you might be critical, but if you really listen, Kendrick is dealing with some deep stuff. He’s not just talking about his own pain, but also about how trauma affects his family and community. He admits to witnessing abuse, and while he doesn't directly say he was physically abusive, he does acknowledge his own emotional struggles and how that impacted his relationships. THEREFORE WE DON’T KNOW. You are projecting! There’s a moment in the song where he reflects on how he’s carried this weight and even mentions feeling like he’s been “a product of that pain” - suggesting that his past behaviors may have been influenced by unresolved trauma, even if they weren’t necessarily violent. It’s less about him claiming he’s been abusive and more about him owning up to how trauma, in any form, shapes who we become. It’s a raw, vulnerable look at how tough it can be to break free from those cycles, and it’s powerful because Kendrick’s being honest about the process of healing and accountability, which is an anomaly these days.

Think about it, Biggie was out for how long? Yet he only had 1 album before he passed. His name Notorious Big was stolen from a Mississippi rapper named Notorious Big1 and Biggie's #1 song "Juicy", was stolen from that same artist. If you know, you know. If you don't, do your research.

So, this is the thing, Kendrick has ALWAYS paid homage to Wayne. Every time he won an award he big upped Wayne, if I'm not mistaken, it was a total of 10 to 12 instances. He has always stated how Wayne was a major influence on his rap career and the ONE time Wayne had the opportunity to think about someone else other than his narcissistic tail, he missed it! Kendrick was quiet for awhile, more than likely from the disappointment of his idol trying to steal his thunder, his moment, giving Wayne a chance to get over himself and congratulate Kendrick and pass the f-ing baton to the next generation of lyricists. The problem that Wayne Stan's are having is the lack of comprehension that West Coast niggas are only going to stand around and take disrespect, even from their idols. Nobody should be shocked that he snapped on everybody's a** and has taken the stance of F- ALL YOU NI***S! That boy is from Compton and no matter how nerdy or whatever you think he is, even the nerd has a breaking point. COMPTON BOYS DON'T TAKE DISRESPECT AT ALL!!! They DEMAND respect and you had better not act like you aren't or can't give it to them...they will take a bullet, go to jail, or whatever if you disrespect them. The beautiful thing about Kendrick, much like Eminem, his fight and rage comes out in the pen and not the streets. A lot of people tried to disrespect him when the right thing or protocol should have been to congratulate and celebrate that young man. Kendrick is the next generation of rappers/emcee's/lyricist/battle rappers and it would have made sense to support him...I wholeheartedly believe that Kendrick would have brought out Wayne due to his admiration of him BEFORE this whole incident happened. Now, all they can do is express fake outrage towards Kendricks Wacced Out Murals line. It is what it is and Kendrick said what he said.

Im not sure if im blaming the label anymore. I think the label would have backed whoever won the battle. And I think they have the right to do that the same way they have the right to push your release back for the big dog. If they were shading Drake and helped Kendrick the same way they have helped Drake, then the label backed the winner after the songs dropped, in my personal opinion. No pun
