Aloaloa is definitely my favorite variant deep dungeon out of the 3 that we currently have. It’s noticeable that they had a lot of fun making this one.

@@shideception3614 I figured it out by myself. Since I play the German version, interestingly there were not only different wordings, but also different orders and different things to do. I even saw that there are different guide tipps on different German speaking websites. So I wonder why this is the case. But anyway, everything worked out in the end. 3 months later I had no problem finding people on on a weekday running from 22:00 to 1:30. Seems to be still decently popular.

This is a fun variant dungeon to figure out! I would say only watch video if you get bored of many attempts. You will be surprised. The upside of runs give you time to emote, chat, enjoy the scenery, laugh at and figure out the inventive boss mechs. Its a refreshing detour from wall to wall dailies speed runs that once you are 90 are so mundane. The only downside is it could be seen as more casual. I wonder if this is something they will change with Dawntrail.

Variant dungeons has been a interesting experience and this one is my favorite one. Path 12 has always been the True ending route for the Variant dungeon but for this one, they made it work more with the other possible routes story wise. The three statues the Treasue Hunter drops is actually three statues the three Treasue Hunters found in the three Normal routes. This means story wise, the WoL had gone through the Isle three times to go through the three normal routes first (which version of these routes is canon is unknown so it is left up to the player) until the WoL finally decided to explore the Isle one more time which lead him/her to route 12. I still wish they would add Variant Limit Break for Solo mode so our character can have a special limit break when playing solo.

Poison in middle route does not matter at all for unlocks. Same as statues at right route do not matter for unlocks. In fact, poison mechanics are easier.

missing information from 7:30 to 9:09 you still have to fight one boss (not on path 9) AND should bring back the statue back into place before the first boss. makes him a little bit easier. beside that at path 12 you have to read what you have. i have a complete different text and actions to do.

TY very much for showing all pathes. Especially how to do 12th path. Since I am not so good in English, I usually can not read all those descriptions and understand all (and they are not translating automatic with Tataru plugin) so your video was really helpful. I liked Aloalo V&C dungeon, did all pathes with SMN alone and it was not difficult. For me this dungeon was even easier then Mount Rokkon and Sil'dihn.

So how do you get Route 2 and save the lala? The crabs specifically target him even if I pull them away with Tank aggro and he's dead in 2 shots. I'm thinking I might just have to pull my Healer out for this.

I did it as RPR. Just spam Variant Cure targeted at the Lala until he's full then aggro everything and pull them away.

Solo on the previous dungeon i did tank warrior, just easy to mess up mechanics and not care :P

you can do it with any job, just use right variant actions.

if you are going in Solo these Variant skills are the recommended ones to take in my opinion As a DPS, I recommend always taking Variant Rampart and Variant cure. That way you always have a anti-Buster buff and a strong healing skill that cost no MP. As a Tank, take Variant cure to cover healing and Variant Spirit Dart (a very strong attack skill only for Tanks and healer jobs) For Healer, take Variant Rampart and Variant Spirit Dart.

permanent as long you complete all routes. Each Variant dungeon has a mount rewarded to you for completing all routes.

people want a wings mount but what I want is a flying with magic mount. basically the exact same animations of this mount except the fairy isn't there if someone could mod the fairy to make her invisible that would be my ideal mount (I'm on playstation so I can't really use mods anyway🥲)
