In an interview with Billboard... Narin and Gawon says that they were in the studio with Teddy and he played them the beat and melody for "Toxic". He then told them "Oh, I have to go do something. You guys do whatever you want with that. Have fun" and left them on their own to make the song.

The way a Meovv album is going to be epic. They are SO good and have obviously worked incredibly hard. TBL is genius for finding these girlies and putting them together, and I’m actually into the way they are just slowly rolling out content. The more I see of Narin I have no doubt she’ll end up one of my ults. Can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

im so obsessed with this song and this group. i had my reservations with their debut song but have absolutely been won over with this song. it just pulls every emotional string in my body and the nostalgic feeling it gives me is indescribable...i need more!!! i cannot wait to see what else they have in store since their range so far has been so diverse. this is the best group to come out since XG...every member is incredible. and Sooin is 100% my bias with the way she just pierces my soul with her eyes. she gives off that GoGo Yubari from Kill Bill vibes

This group is giving me trouble. I still havent picked a bias yet. The 5 women are very talented and I don't pick based on visuals, or dance, or vocals. There is a quintessential essence that I pick. Someone who is fun, approachable, and has an aura about them. And so far.... all 5 have that about them. For now, I am OT5. No bias.
