How many of you Tony Randall wrote this jingle? He was trying to figure out some lyric for it and kept repeating the word "Meow" and realized he had what he was looking for. Randall wrote a lot of jingles. He loved commercials. His appearance as a "mystery guest" on What's My Line is classic Tony Randall. One of the funniest appearance by anyone on television (1964)

Felicette returned to earth, in the SAHARA, but died aftrwards. I love 9Lives also. I use to buy our cats this, all the time in the 99 cents store in N.Y.

The Close Encounters of the Meow Mix Kind and the pampered cat on the counter were my two favorites. There's one missing, it was from the 77-82 time period, it involved a cat searching for Meow Mix and involved a synth cat voice. The cat was wandering the streets, showed exterior shots of buildings.
