I have noticed that since beginning in January these guides are even more helpful. I cannot imagine starting 1-2 months ago and miss out on so much content. I started when the Ragnar event was at 1/3, couldn’t achieve anything. But was able to unlock him on the last event. It is possible, but you have to dedicate a lot of time.

It should be noted that all sections can be cleared by just two teams each, fullfilling all objectives. While these teams may not be able to finish the higher difficulties, it's a good way to save event tokens and progress quickly early on

For the aeldari it is also important to note that when your character has killed one of their units, the warlocks will always use their active as their first action. This might not be as useful as in the campaign, but it might be worth keeping in mind

Ulf will kill every unit that attacks him with a dmg dealing ability basically killing the Gardists as soon as they spawn (if he stands next to a spawn point) and the harlequins when they use their ability A good Ulf can auto kill 60-80% of each level

This event is going to be a big roster check for some folks. Token economy is going to make 1st round unlock harder for sure. Something I’m going to try is aleph, anu, immo team for beta no big target, mech, 3 hit to save tokens

Eldryon, Neurothrope, Archie, Abraxas, Typhus, Bird Man and Ahriman. 7 non imperial psychers. Most of them are good, some are incredible and one is a bird. You should already be investing

Great vid. Can I make one small suggestion towards helping improve these vidoes (for Nandi, MrsNandi, the community, and the devs)? Simply: When suggesting teams, I would include an additional team -- a team that does not rely on characters that can no longer be unlocked. In that way, we help to bring along newer players. That will help each and and all of us. After all, we want a growing, if not more generally, sustainble community.

I'd say any character that relies solely on Req drops and can't currently be unlocked any other way (usually - there's always the occasional event). So campaign and standard shop characters only, plus maybe some of the requisition track characters like Azrael most new players could be expected to have access to.

Harlequins in LRE 😢, i cant wait to have almost all my damage blocked every hit. PAIN! I would prefer if they added the guards over the quins.

@@malloc7108 i guess isa might work. I still dont think its normal for a harlequin bronze 2 to survive a gold 2 harken hit. I hate them even more than the chaos terminator. Both are there, this event will be miserable for me 😂😂

​@@cactus501Chaos terminators turn into wet tissue paper if they're standing next to another Chaos unit and you target one or the other with a unit or ability that can hit multiple targets at once. I like to use Burchard for this since he can target several enemies at once

Ulf is cracked against eldari, just postion him with 1 other character so that they try to use their abilities next to him and all you'll press is skip turn while he murders everything that comes near. It's really good stuff.

Greetings Nandi, I want to ask one thing about the Tacticus in case if you can answer this. Are this game have something like system that removes needed upgrades from inner shop after receiving characters who need it. For example previously there was "Brazen Jaws" in inner shop very often, but as soon as my only two characters from World eaters start to require this upgrade, it disappear from shop entirely and didn't appears till this day.

God guide for nuwer players that want tips. For older gamers Alpha/Gamma erly batles can the first restriktions from battles 1-8 be don with 2 tokens. And mataneo god characters combo with jarick get max cadians sumons fast. Gona be interesting se if get mephiston to legendery 5 star like kharns 1 run with no deals both.

Am I missing something... Mataneo is plasma damage, so how does he fit into physical or power trait requirements?? EDIT: His active does Physical and Power damage. Looked closer at the requirements and saw it mentions active abilities!

Hi nandi. I'm having a super hard time with this event. Im currently at stage 5 on each catagory. Stage 6 and up seems to difficult to complete in 1 go while unlocking bonus' but I think I can finish them with multiple attempts (without bonuses). Should I be going back now and completing previous bonus' or should I just keep pushing the stages and completing them with every token i get?

I would just try and complete all the stages and categories that you can before trying for multiple attempts on harder stages

I'm a relatively new player to the game who pretty much came in just because of the Blood Angels. I managed to barely unlock Mataneo before his event ended, but what are my chances of getting Mephiston if I'm just a casual noob who isn't spending any money on the game? Is unlocking him at all a reasonable expectation? Or is the limited time of this event more of a FOMO thing and I shouldn't waste my time as a non-paying player? Also, is it possible to upgrade Mataneo outside of his event? Or do I have to wait however long it takes for the event to come back to get more shards for him?

Using mataneo in onslaught will get you character shards to upgrade him. Legendary release events are end game content for people who have been playing 6m+ It involves some fun roster building strategy but usually out of reach for new players

@@Nandi40k That's kinda what I figured. I was trying my hand at unlocking the Redemptor Dread but my chaos forces are still way too thin and too weak to really get beyond the first tier. Only been playing for a couple of weeks now, so it is what it is. How often do these events cycle back? Would I be waiting months to years to get another chance at Mephiston?

How do you mean? Mataneo is doing well in TA, and going by this video does some heavy lifting for LRE as well, Mephiston looks badass too. What's lackluster here? Or are you talking about how tough this LRE looks like it might be?

Mataneo is a worse and not as optimal Bellator, looks like shit too Mephiston is a legendary character, probably meaning we won't get Dante, the actual cool guy of the faction, and his active ability is just Yaz's and he is a common character ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ They don't even have an unique faction trait, it's as if they're trying their harder to make them not interesting at all

​@@jacksonville9642While I'm not gonna hold my breath, here are some points I'd like to make 1) Mataneo is a kiter not a straight fighter like Bellator. Mataneo is better against AI without aoe damage since they'll always target the summons which you'll never run out of as long as there's room for you to hit and run 2) Mephiston has antiheal which would be really useful against Isabella and Rotbone etc 3) I won't hold my breath for this but they'll probably all have Black Rage / Red Thirst 4) A faction can have two Legendaries (Sororitas, Aeldari)

The tuning for this event has been absolutely awful. SP has significantly moved the goal posts and any team hoping to play past level 8 must be over G2. As someone who enjoys outplaying the ai and acquiring these in a single event the outright inability to use tokens efficiently and the level 9 stat check wall has made the game mode I would celebrate as the best part of Tacticus as now being yet another ‘fuck you’ from SP.

The character pool is cluttered too now so you have many chars to pull from. I think you miss the bigger picture and there needs to be a middle ground for new players to catch up.
