Alka yagnik had a sweeter voice than all of these singers. Shreya and Kavita are too thin and Anuradha Paudwal was more like a devotional voice, very less "shararat" in her voice. Only Alka had the complete voice after Lata/Asha.

It's not some kind of exam where one has to sing all types of songs. The most widely used genre is romance and Alka used to nail all romantic songs. And Kavita's voice is too thin. How to prove this? I guess that's commonly accepted fact. You may ask anyone else.

I think today's singer got ability to sing like them , but thing is system that we have now making them lazy .. stop and re -record each line definitely makes you stay where u are, unless you try atleast to sing full song in a single go. Let it be even wrong when you sing in one go but it will help improve lung power 🙏

Many factors, difference in training, styles, industry requirements, (no longer the days of high pitched sopranos) lack of vocal development etc. Autotune and other sound enchancements been used as early as 60s , but now difference is the voices are just weightless.
