My mother use to sing this as i remember from my childhood. Mera sundar sapna bit gaya was story of every family. Days were hard, no grains, no transport, no medicine, yet life was wonderful. Miss pota has excellent voice and she shang brilliant my thanks to her performance.

The starting intro comments made by the lady presenter was incharitable hurtful though true but uncalled ful and unwanted the personal comments for the departed suol was untasteful and could easily be avoided since the late singer or her relatives couldnot rebutt such one sided remarks about her ego wrong decisions after we are all humans should not pass judgements or sweeping comments in front of as auidence। we also have no right on the socalled suicide theory note of late gurudutt no one commits suicide pleasurly। to,very sad very bad

This is a legend of a song.Imagine Geeta Dutt s age when she sang this --about 15 ! ..and play back was for heroin who was much much older.Burt Sachin Dev Burman had that great confidence in this newcomer s ability.The song became a craze all over. The attempt to sing this song by Anupa is not entirely satisfactory.The song is sung slower --meter as they call it. Instrumental support is also average and has no connection whatsever with that in the original song.Anupa should give it one more try as she is certainly capable of it.Legend songs should be respected.
