Merab is leaving out a huge part. Merab is the one who started the disrespect by saying who the f*ck is Umar when he was asked about fighting Umar. Umar beat Cory Sandhagen in a title eliminator fight and earned his shot. The UFC even said Umar was next but Merab continued to disrespect Umar. Even at his last fight the UFC had Umar on the big and had Joe Rogan ask him about Umar but he downplayed it. In his post fight conference he continued the disrespect by downplaying Umar and calling out every other contender. Before their press conference Merab approached Umar aggressively and asked him why he was disrespecting him and Umar responded by asking him how he disrespected him but Merab never answered. Merab asked the same question and Umar once again asked him to clarify how he disrespected but Merab never answered. After realizing that Merab was only there to try to bully him, Umar then replied because I can, what are you going to do about it. Merab is going around trying to make Umar the bad guy.
