Merabs gained so much respect from everyone after this fight
@JamesBondi712 күн бұрын
Honestly not from me, he called out umar for being disrespectful for challenging him, then proceed to disrespect umar in the cage with his lack of sportsmanship and showboating his cardio. Hes not goat material, and will be forgotten in 1 month when everyone is back on Pereira wagon.

Merab took the fight knowing it's the biggest challenge so far after "easy" wins when everyone thought he's loosing this one cause it's Umar and his wrestling is gonna be tested like never before. I bet you could guarantee his cardio won't help him cause Umar is so good everywhere. And still after the fight you don't know the simple fact that without skills you don't get a win against such a perfect fast and technical fighter as Umar is. Shame on you haters never satisfied.

Nobody can match Merab's cardio so Umar needs to learn something exceptional in order to take out Merab in a future fight. Umar is very young; yet he went 5 rounds against a dominant champ. Umar won the first two rounds & lost a rather close fight. I feel that Umar employed the wrong strategy in this fight; he forced wrestling & attempted takedowns which drained his energy, causing him to lose. Khabib may be somewhat responsible for Umar's loss because they had the wrong strategy for Umar. He should have not forced wrestling so much. I heard Khabib saying in beginning of 3rd round "start wrestling now & give it all you have".
