A lotta predebut Orbit knows who Jangmi is! She was one of their backup dancers for the *longest* time and even fansites started taking photos of her. I once read that old school music journalism was the writer 'using their own poetry to describe the sounds, the allure, the mystique of a band you may never see live, or whose records you might never be able to buy'. Mera, you are a delight. Your choice of words, your delivery often has me swearing at the screen, rewinding, rewatching. Your passion for concepts, quirks, celebration of ambition, the aspects that resonate inside you to the point of screaming - take my breath away. *Consistently* It was my bandmate that drew my attention to your channel, it's been a point of discussion this morning - again. Thank you for being all that you are, and continue to be all that you fancy. It kinda reminds me of Nature's debut, they shot their MV with 9 members but then Yeolmae left, the difference is that their company somehow has a budget and the music video doesn't have such crazy editing, they removed her solo shots, but she is there in the choreography parts

There's silhouettes with short hair, but Mera said is a three member girlgroup...", I only could come with the explanation that they were using one of there backup dancers to make the formation look even (wich still didn't make sense), and then, we came to the reveal, and I was like... "oh, so it wasn't a backup dancer", but then Mera said "red hair" and I got more confuse >o

I've only been a fan of Limesoda for about 3-4 months, but I love their voices and their performances, and seeing someone talk about them makes me really happy. They deserve a little love, especially with the strangeness of what went on with Wave and Hyerim's subsequent absence. Thank you for talking about them! It means alot ❤
@SannaKore4 жыл бұрын
Wow, this is some bizarre synchronicity because I was just bringing this up in the comments of a recent debut where they did the same thing, except better. When I first watched Wave I could tell right away that they were cropping someone out, but in REDSQUARE'S debut, that just happened, it took me a few viewings (I really like the song) to realize that one of the girls that was in the dance portion of the video didn't get a single solo shot. This was hard to discern because the whole concept of the video was obscuring the girls' faces the entire video. However, the member they left out has short, blonde hair while the rest of the members have long dark hair so I was eventually able to pick up on it. So, as for playing the shell game with its members, REDSQUARE has Limesoda beat!
@mint210824 жыл бұрын
yeah i remember watching the mv and being super confused about how many members the group had because the choreography was obviously made for 4 members but i could only see 3 in other shots??? hahaha anyways great video ❤

@goobydooby694 жыл бұрын
what they did with editing tini(?) out of the mv really reminds me of what happened with woojin in stray kids' astronaut. you can see him in some shots, and shots are hodge-podged together with edits to make sure his face is never shown. however, i think jyp, with their much higher budget, did a good job of hiding him, for the most part, whereas tini was blatantly in some shots.
@burneraccountforthewin4 жыл бұрын
I think another issue is that Wave only had 4 members to begin with whereas SKZ had 9. It's easier to hide a member when there are more members but Waves had a literal hole in their MV and choreo formations.

wave was one of my favorite comebacks of 2019, definitely in my top 5. i don't know how to explain it but it makes me feel the same way jelly by hotshot does. i remember thinking some scenes in the mv were odd (the clips of the silhouette of the girl with the shoulder length hair who obviously wasn't one of the three members, the weird cropping of them sitting down that was done in post, the scenes in which there were 4 girls dancing, one of them having shoulder length hair, just like the silhouette we see several times....) & i looked into it, saw that there was originally another member, & i figured that must have been her. i had no idea about all the background information though, so i appreciate this video! i do wonder why they kept the silhouette scenes in the mv considering they were trying to hide her so much. im sad to hear another member left, i wish the best for the girls regardless.

THANK YOU. This is one of those groups where I made the exact same connection as you, and did my own little investigation many months ago when WAVE was released. I knew something was really off about the MV because I was like, "who is actually in this group?? why does the choreo make it seem like there are more than just the 3 girls??" Your obsessive nature helped bring some resolution to my confusion. I didn't realize there legitimately *was* a 4th member. This explains so much.

hello?? this was so entertaining and even informative like i genuinely went and watched the limesoda video after this (plus your little peppered in bits and jokes just heightened the quality)
