I have the same issue with the folding part Been looking for a fix for Years let me know if u find a fix!!

Three ideas come to mind. Locktite on the threads. Modifying the threaded bolt with a quick release tightening solution. Last, bolt in place with anti slip washers (the kind with teeth). I sold mine but that what I’d try first. Of course I didn’t really fold mine down ever so.
