Mercedes 1992 W124 300E Chasing Oil Leaks

I hate oil leaks! thought it was rear main seal which is a expensive fix that requires removing transmission to replace seal, luckily this one was something else leaking.
UPDATE! 2-1-2024 zero leaks on the ground! main leak was oil pressure sender, I fixed it by wrapping teflon tape around the threads, I guess threads are just a little off on new units, had crush washer but that wasn't the problem.

Belly pans are for sound insulation also. So I would not remove them. One of things I love about Mercedes is quality sound insulation.
