1983 was the last year of importation to the US for the 240D models. They had the manual windows and sunroof and are highly prized vehicles today. Excellent video John.

The pre 1990 mercedes are fantastic cars. I have a low mile 1987 300d w124 and a 1987 300sdl w126. I love them both. You cant beat the mercedes turbo diesel. Very relaxing to drive.😊

I've not driven a w124 yet, but I was extremely impressed with my friends w126 when I drove it back from Nevada. Its his first Mercedes and he loves it. Cheers John.
