In this short video I replace the cruise control amplifier module. It's difficult to get to but not really that hard to replace if you know how to detach the module and its bracket and remove them together as a unit. The bracket has a captive nut welded to it and there is a bolt that goes through the brake pedal bracket which screws into the captive nut. You cannot see the head of the bolt but you can use a 1/4 inch drive socket with a short extension to turn it. Be careful to NOT pull the bolt out of its resting place in the brake pedal bracket once you've loosened the cruise control module. You will have a hard time getting that bolt back in there if you do. When you are ready to install the new module you will note that a screw on the module's bracket simply rests in a hole on the brake pedal bracket. This is simply for positioning only. The one bolt discussed above is the
only fastener holding the module on the car.
