The best Mercedes ever .....this car was 20 years ahead in technology... all time one of the greatest cars ever to exist ... I saw this blonde dude with glasses yesterday driving one 560 AMG with this 8x2 exhaust and his two young kids with him ...man it was mind blowing to watch it glide with that thunderous V8 OHC sound ... I went insane .... I love them with all my heart

That mighty AMG coupe sold for US$140k (aprox AUD$195k). A black one sold for a similar price not long before and another is on the market now for US$159k, so collectors are opening their wallets for these Pre-"AMG merger with MB" majestic timeless coupes. Back then in the late 80's once AMG had done their work the cost of the coupes new was staggering in Germany. In Australia they would edged close to AUD$200k mark (the equivalent of at 3 houses). They were extremely well engineered and such classic timeless lines. Even +25yrs later they are still an awesome car.
